We are so excited to be able to have a garden again this year. With us being retired from the softball concessions we have had lots of free time to do things that we forgot we loved so much. Such as planting a garden! We have planted corn, green beans, squash, zucchini, bell peppers, jalapenos, beats, peas, tomatoes, watermelon, radishes, onions and potatoes. We are starting to see the fruits of our (more Gary than mine) labor now. It is fun! I can't wait to start enjoying some of those home grown veggies! I want to do some canning and freezing.
